First Post

I certainly wish I had something profound to say here. I e-mailed my brother today to tell him I had set up a blog, saying that "this should give me a false sense of my own significance for about a week or so, assuming I can think of something to write, and can find someone to read it."

So rather than being profound or eloquent, I'll just call this a test post because I'm still trying to figure out how this works! Stay tuned in case I actually do write something important. Actually, I think I'd rather be funny.
